They say that Velec was created when a human on Earth died as the galaxies collided. They say that upon the creation of Velec, balance was restored to the universe.
Velec was supposedly created to be much like Earth - but developed in so many ways that Earth never was able to. Sadly, since its creation, the people of Velec had been fighting over land and power - and even just the simplest of things like simple cultural differences. Velec is seperated into eight kingdoms: Asra, Hydrinx, Josri, Kanaranador, Redrin, Sattar, Salvana, and Ziax. Each country has their own reasons to fight, and their own enemies to face. The seas and skies of Velec are ravaged with pirates, while the lands ruled by tyrants and monarchs. Demons, both malevolent and benign, watch the lands, doing as they please. 3006 A.D. (On Earth), a rutheless race of blood-thirsty creatures, the Aloycin, have taken over Earth. Though life resumes on Earth, some Earthian refugees have fleed to Velec in hopes of freedom and liberation. Afterall, who could turn down their planet of origin? It was not in the hearts of the Velecon people to let the Earthian's perish, so they accepted them onto their planet, but as the Earthian's came, so did a foul air of omenous winds. The Aloycins wait, looming over Velec, waiting for the perfect time to strike... This is where our story takes place... Okay, so I actually finished the fist chapter of Velec (Go me!) pretty early, so I felt like posting it up early - mainly because I'm sick of bringing it around to school with me! I'm sick of people in my classes watching me draw then ask if they can see it - further, then, asking if they can see my entire folder of drawings and see the very last page of El Chupacabra that I had worked on (I actually haven't been working on it really all that fast, so my apologies on those waiting on that... Anyway, this is the cover page for Velec. Enjoy it, because my scanner was kind to me and my entire computer let me do this! Splash Page: [link] |
